Oud is a special and precious note in perfumery. Its warm, sweet balsamic musky scent can be potent and has been used for centuries in India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Oud is produced when the wood of the tropical Agar (Aquilaria) tree gets infected with a parasitic mold called Phialophora parasitica. This results in a precious, dark, and fragrant resin, which is called oud, oudh, agarwood or eaglewood.

Côté Bougie's Oud candle has been blended with natural essences and brings a light warm, mildly sweet, balsamic scent to your atmosphere with a discrete presence.
