Music Box - Pinocchio Theatre

Handmade Wooden Pinocchio Theatre – Hand-Cranked Music Box | 10 cm

The curtain rises... and a little magic begins!

This delightful miniature theatre looks as though it has stepped straight out of an old-fashioned puppet show. Handmade from lightweight wood, it features a colourful little stage with Pinocchio and Geppetto, framed by burgundy curtains, golden stars and cheerful yellow-and-brown stripes.

Turn the small handle on the side to play a melody from Verdi's opera Rigoletto. The music plays for as long as you keep turning. The figures remain still, but the melody brings this tiny theatre to life in its own charming way.

With its playful details, simple wooden construction and nostalgic feel, it's exactly the sort of curious little object we love at Curiosa Cabinet. Lovely on a bookshelf, tucked between old treasures or given as an unusual gift to someone who appreciates a little whimsy.

Small in size, big on charm!
